2010 Costume Drive

The 2010 Free Costumes for Kids Costume drive is off to a great start.  Over 50 Toddler and Infant costumes were delivered last week to Youthland Academy located in Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.  Teacher, Arielle Berry,  with the help of Tonya Hodge are organizing the distribution of costumes at Barton Elem. in Lake Worth.  Two hundred costumes were delivered to Barton on Friday.  The Boynton Beach After School Program at the Hester Center received 50 costumes for the children in their program.

Many thanks to our volunteers who are giving their time and energy to drives at our other collection sites.    Morikami Elem. School’s, Melissa Wigdor, is coordinating the collection for Forest Park Elem.  Many thanks to Erin Greaves at Banyan Creek for organizing the drive at her school and  for all of her extra help with  PR and finding Whole Foods to be a collection site.  The coordinator at Hidden Oaks Elem. is Jennifer Martinez, Sunrise Park Elem.  is Lisa Eisenberg,  Polo Park Middle School is Suzi Scarborough and The City of Parkland is Coleen O’Dea.

Holidays are very important to our kids.  The gift of a Halloween costume to a needy child will put a smile on a child’s face.   At Free Costumes for Kids we are “changing lives, one costume at a time.”
